Be aware of your surroundings
Pay attention to who is around you.
- Ensure no one follows you into the gym without a valid pass.
- Tell anybody requesting to enter the gym to speak to management.
- If you see suspicious behaviour, let the gym staff know. If it’s an emergency call 000.
Secure your personal possessions
Keep your items safe and secure at all times.
- Keep your valuable items (keys, phone and wallet) in a secure locker, or in your close possession.
- Do not use unlockable storage cubes, shelves, or cupboards.
- Do not have your name, address or registration details on any personal items.
Park in a well-lit and secure area
If you drive to the gym, ensure your car is parked safely:
- Use the parking provided by the gym whenever possible.
- Park as close as you can to the main entry and/or in view of CCTV.

What to do if your property has been stolen
If your items have been stolen, keep yourself safe and do not confront the thief. Your safety is more important than your belongings.
